August’s end

I can’t believe tomorrow marks the first day of September.
I’ve been working at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston for two months now.
Preston is back where I can reach him.
New students are filing onto campus, noisily.
My mother and step-father sold the house I grew up in & moved into their newly built home.
I’ve been faced with and dealing with . . unpredictable life situations, that I was never prepared for.  Never thought it would happen to me.  I want it erased from time.
